Controlled, High-Pressure Wash
Dirty-looking tile and grout that won’t come clean, no matter how much you scrub can be incredibly frustrating. We use a controlled, high-pressure wash to get even the dingiest-looking floors to look brand new again. Our deep cleaning and sanitizing process leaves behind no mess or residue.
Here's how it works. We apply the appropriate cleaning solution for your particular type of floor and allow it to remain on the surface, giving the solution time to completely penetrate and disinfect the area. Then we agitate the solution, paying close attention to porous grout lines, to break down the soil, grit, and grime. Our final step is to clean and rinse the grout lines and tile using a high-pressure spinning tool.
Grout Is Porous
Your grout, if view under a microscope magnified a thousand times, looks a lot like an English muffin. Do you know how English muffins hold warm butter and sweet jam because of all the nooks and crannies? That’s a good thing — for an English muffin. But nooks and crannies in grout permit spills, dirt, and grime to penetrate and get trapped beneath the surface. That’s not so good.
Regular mopping can't adequately clean the porous surface of the grout, and scrubbing might even drive contaminants in further. Dirt, bacteria, and odors result.
The solution? After our deep cleaning services, your grout lines need to be sealed.
Grout Sealing
Upon request, we will apply a high-quality impregnating sealer to your grout lines. The sealer will fill in the pores of the grout so that spills, dirt, oil, and other contaminants no longer settle into the nooks and crannies. Sealing buys you some time to wipe up spills before they become stains. In addition, sealing makes routine cleaning and maintenance a lot easier.
Because sealers usually only last for about eight months, we highly recommend our grout color sealing services for a lasting, uniform look.
Grout Color Sealing
With color sealing, we can not only change the color of your grout lines but provide your grout lines with the best possible sealing protection. Permanent stains can cause grout lines to look blotchy, even after professional deep cleaning. Color sealing is the ideal solution for this problem.
Just like regular sealing, color sealing buys you time to wipe up spills such as coffee, soy sauce, ketchup, etc. before they become stains and makes regular cleaning more productive. After the color sealer dries, you can see which color you like best. Then, we order your color sealer and schedule a day to color seal your grout.
